Vector ("we," "us," or "our"), a publication of TSG Media LLC, is committed to protecting the privacy of readers, subscribers, and site visitors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information in a few specific situations:

• Email subscriptions. When you subscribe to Vector's newsletter, we collect your email address and any optional profile information you provide.
• Paid subscriptions. If you purchase a paid subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card details on our servers. Stripe shares transaction metadata with us for account management.
• Site analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not track individual reader behavior across the web.
• Correspondence. When you email us, we retain the message so we can respond and maintain a record of the conversation.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to deliver the newsletter you subscribed to, process payments, respond to your messages, maintain site security, and understand which stories are resonating with readers in aggregate.

We do not sell subscriber lists. We do not share your email with third-party advertisers.

Third-party services

Vector runs on the following services, each with its own privacy policy:

• Ghost — content management and website hosting
• beehiiv — newsletter email delivery
• Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions
• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and site security

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link at the bottom of every email. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@vector.news. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Readers in the EU, UK, and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively, including the right to access, correct, and port your data. Send requests to the same address.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Vector evolves. Material changes will be announced to subscribers via email and posted here with a revised effective date.
